Some seriously SQUEEing went on while reading Gable by Harper Bentley! Holy mother of pearl... you MUST read this HOT bad boy!!
Gable Powers had all the makings of everything my father had ever warned me about: a reputation that was anything but stellar, a dirty mouth that had me shivering at the things he uttered in my ear, and a body (oh, God, that body) that was covered in tattoos, all of which added up to a solid ten-point-oh on the bad-boy scale.
The first time I met him, I instantly loathed him.

Holy hot sausage balls!!! I absolutely adored this book!! Gable's cocky, self assured, I make you cream your panties attitude had me wanting to eat him up and kick his a$$ at the same time. I loved that Gable was a much deeper person than he appeared to be on the outside. I literally was laughing out loud at some of the mental images I was creating in my own little dirty mind while reading this book! From the first meeting of Scout and Gable I knew they were destined to be... either amazing lovers or one of them would rip the other one's head off. My money was on Scout!!
Gable was fall from heaven gorgeous with a wicked mouth... and tongue... SQUEE!! He could have any girl he wanted... and mostly did. That is until he met Scout. She was a challenge, she made him feel things that he never felt before or not for a very long time. I fell for Gable, not only because... uh, DUH... he was holy hell HOT... but also because as a voyeur I knew and saw things that he hid very far away from everyone else.
Harper Bentley did a superb job at creating a world where no one else existed except for Gable and Scout. I could not put this book down. I drove my husband crazy with my cackling laughter at the banter these two characters gave each other, and I devoured this book in one sitting. Who needs food when you have Gable Powers?!?!?! I easily give this book a 5 knock my socks off rating and I cannot wait for Book 2 in this series!!

Harper Bentley has taught high school English for 22 years. Although she's managed to maintain her sanity regardless of her career choice, jumping into the world of publishing her own books goes to show that she might be closer to the ledge than was previously thought.
