Reckless Abandon is book 2 of one of my favorite series... The November Blue series!! I had the pleasure of reading this book for a review and had some strong emotions zapped out of me for it! ;)

My Review:
Reckless Abandon picks up right where Ten Days of Perfect left off... except for I had my emotions zapped out of me right from the get go!! I had a roller coaster ride with my feelings in this book and I noticed most of my bad ones were directed towards November herself!! Wow... that girl made me want to jump into the book, grab her by the hair, beat the crap out of her, and steal Bo for myself and run!! It was one of the firs times while reading I was hoping the man would tell her to stick it where the sun doesn't shine and tear his a _ _!! At first I thought my despise was for Adrian Turner, and ex boyfriend that shows back up in a major way, but I soon learned it was November who was grating my nerves with her back and forthness!
I loved that Andrea Randall made the men the innocent characters in this story...well as innocent as hot men can be. ;) Most books have the studs playing major asshole roles or commitment phobes and November had two walking sex sticks vying for her love... hence one of the reasons I wanted to jump in the book and beat the crap out of her! I knew I loved Bo after reading Ten Days of Perfect... but Reckless Abandon hit that point home! The were times in this book I laughed, moments of complete sorrow, and times I was so pissed I would bookmark my page and say I would come back the next day... only to turn my iPad right back on and start reading again because I HAD to know what happened with Bo!!!
I give Reckless Abandon 4.5 stars on the knock my socks off scale!! I am hoping Andrea Randall will give us an Adrian Turner book and maybe another love interest for Regan... hint... hint. ;)
Excerpt:
When the doors ding closed behind us, I slam Adrian into the side of the elevator by my mouth. “Never do that to me in public again,” I curse in the short time my tongue leaves his mouth. I feel his grin against my lips. “Don’t worry, baby. Anything else I plan on doing to you has to be done in private.”We tear blindly through his door in a hurricane of need five years in the making. I glide backward with each step he takes forward, until my hips are backed up against the kitchen island. With the height of my heels, I’m able to lift up on my toes slightly and shift myself onto the marbled surface. Once anchored, I kick off my heels and wrap my legs around his waist.“You have condoms right?” I breathe onto his collarbone as I explore the peaks and valleys of his muscles with my lips.
We had the chance to sit down and interview our main squeeze.... Bo!!!! ***fan girl squeal***
RimTO: What is it about November that made you feel drawn to her?
Bo: Man, that's a loaded question. The first time I met her was on stage at Finnegan's when I was singing with her and Monica. She blushed a little when we shook hands, but instantly took over the song. That was hot on a number of levels.
RimTO: Do you think you and November will ever collaborate an album with her parents?
Bo: I think when you read about our life over the last few months, you'll get your answer to that question ;)
RimTO: Ok... all the ladies want to know.... Boxers, briefs, or nothing (SQUEEE)?
Bo: Boxer briefs (bites lip and looks down,blushing)
RimTO: What is your morning routine?
Bo: Wake up, throw sweatpants on, make coffee, breathe it all in. (We are jealous of those sweat pants!!)
RimTO: WHEN , and I know you will, and HOW do you plan to propose to November? We won't tell.... ;)
Bo: After the whole debacle in Concord with Max and Bill, things were rough between November and I. Really rough. Then they got worse . . . (trails off and looks out window) . . . So, even though proposing to her is something I've thought about since the second I knew I was in love with her . . . I just don't know right now.
RimTO: What is your favorite part of the day?
Bo: Crawling into bed. (winks)
RimTO: How do you relax?
Bo: Music, and . . . some other things
RimTO: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Bo: Not only do I believe it, I lived it. ***AWE***
RimTO: What is your favorite piece to play on the piano?
Bo: It's actually the song I wrote after my parents died. While it's really hard to play it, emotionally, it's really cathartic and says everything words can't.
RimTO: What is your most memorable moment?
Bo: If I told you, that would spoil Reckless Abandon, now, wouldn't it. (phone rings) "Hey Regan, what's up? Dunes? This weekend? Sure...see ya there." Thank you for having me, ladies :)
Oh, Bo.... you will ALWAYS have us!!! ***sigh***

I started writing poetry long before writing fiction. I firmly believe Poetry is a solid foundation for all other forms of writing. It taught me that a single word can make or break the world.
