Are you willing to fight a challenge with every suitor that comes along?” “Yes. If that’s what is needed, then I will beat them all!” Mason’s body stiffened with determination and I could only imagine what his wolf was experiencing below the surface. Male werewolves were dominant and extremely territorial. I had no doubt Mason would fight to the death, as many times as he needed to, in order to keep me by his side. “I am sure you would, young Alpha. But are you willing to have Darcy do that as well? Will you be able to watch her fight to the death? Is your pride worth the risk? Are you willing to test fate?”

Blog Tour: The Perpetual Quest for the Perfect Life by Michelle Pace and Tammy Coons

Today we welcome The Perpetual Quest for the Perfect Life by Michelle Pace and Tammy Coons to our blog!!

Blurb:
Tourists flock to Jefferson Point for the antique shops and riverboat tours. Everyone knows everyone and secrets are impossible to keep. Or so it seems...

Dr. Ryan Harper's brutal slaying stuns the picturesque river town. High school football star, Prom King, and on his way to finishing his residency, Ryan was their golden child.

After a two-year struggle to care for their young son alone, his widow, Nicole, reluctantly returns to Jefferson Point. Her homecoming reopens old wounds, as Ryan's family and friends struggle to adapt to life without his dynamic presence.

The last person Nicole expects to reconnect with is Aaron Foster, Ryan’s best man and reluctant keeper of his secrets.

With opinions circulating on Nicole’s post-Ryan existence, she must maneuver the rapids of past loves, new expectations, and haunting dreams of her fallen husband.

The Perpetual Quest for the Perfect Life is a frank story of questionable decisions, small town politics, and love after loss.

Excerpt 1: Avery meets Shilah
As she turned toward the river, that smile vanished. Directly in her path was a gorgeous stranger. His appearance was so exotic that the sensation he provoked was akin to seeing an eagle sitting on her front stoop.

"It’s a little warm for that jacket." His voice was rich and delicious like caramel, and his symmetrical face appeared expressionless. As Avery admired him, she speculated he might be Native American. Dark-skinned, his long jet-black hair fell past his broad shoulders. He seemed tall, and his medium build was well defined. His casual stance radiated confidence. Dressed in jeans and a gray t-shirt, he couldn’t have looked more divine in a tuxedo.

"It is warm—kind of hard to believe it’s October. Is there something I can do for you?" Avery impressed herself as she found her voice. Years of hobnobbing paid off and she spewed polite conversation on autopilot.

"I’m here to collect Jason Gates," the stranger replied, approaching her slowly. As he neared, she noticed his eyes were hazel. He seemed to regard her knowingly. She flushed with humiliation as realization overtook her like an avalanche. This guy knew Jason had spent the night. Keeping secrets in Jefferson Point was a hard mission to accomplish on a good day, and it clearly wasn’t going to be one of those.

"What makes you think he’s here?" Avery plastered on a confused expression. She felt lame for trying to cover up her tryst. She was a grown woman and she and Jason were both single, but she valued her privacy. At the sound of the door opening behind her, Avery closed her eyes with a defeated sigh.

"Sneaking off so early? This is your house, remember?" Jason’s carefree tone incited her. Avery glanced over her shoulder at him and was horrified to see him wrapped in one of her bed sheets, which he grasped casually around his waist. His thick blonde hair was wildly mussed from their lust-filled evening. His ripped arms and sculpted abs were a swift reminder of why she’d let him in the night before. Seeing no graceful way to recover from this turn of events, she shrugged and defiantly lifted her chin.

"Someone’s here for you, Jason." She turned again at the magnetic stranger and found him eyeing her unabashedly. His eyes on her caused her to shiver involuntarily.

My Review:
What a wonderfully refreshing story about recovering from heartache, life's struggles, and death. I loved how The Perpetual Quest had a repertoire of characters that each had their own story, their own struggle, and their own likability factor. I was able to not only connect with the main characters of this story, but the circle of friends that was introduced throughout the book. This story follows the lives of several families and how they, like us, are trying to find and live the perfect life.

The book starts off with Nicole moving back home to the small town she grew up in and trying to reconnect with her husband's family after his death. Nicole has been dealt a terrible hand and is fighting like mad to stay above water and raise her son as a now single mother. She finds a new home, her old friends, and finds out that a little spark that started years ago is still there with a certain adorable man!

I loved that this book told each person's back story and included the entire cast of characters throughout the chapters. Don't get me wrong, I loved sweet Nicole, smokin hot Aaron, OH SO SEXY Shilah, and ball buster Avery... but what would this book be without Lauren?!?!?! She cracked me up with her snarky comments, hang you up by your toes and not care if you ever get down attitude, and her meddling into everyone's business. Her obnoxious behavior and bitchy comebacks hooked me in and made me laugh my butt off!

The Perpetual Quest is a great read! It is a quick, uplifting, comical book with a mix of romance, love, and frustrations.... OH the frustrations I felt with wanting Aaron to go after what he wanted!!! I give the Quest 4.5 stars on the knock my socks off scale and highly suggest everyone 1-Click this gem of a book!!

Book Review: Lethal Obsession by Shandra Miller

We had the honor of reading Lethal Obsession by Shandra Miller. Check out our review of this amazing book!!

Blurb:
Angela Martin is like everyone else. She wants acceptance. Love. Passion.

For five years she’s lived with the pain of knowing her husband cheats on her. She’s dealt with the heart-rending rejection by rebuilding her life around her work, becoming the first woman detective in the history of the Moose Creek, N.C., police department.

Then she stumbles upon him. A man who reawakens desire, who makes her feel more alive than she believed possible by pulling her into a world of bondage and dominance, devotion and trust taken to a new level, fear mingling with desire, a craving stronger than any drug.

Soon women start turning up dead in Moose Creek, bound and tortured, tied in ways that Angela finds startling familiar. Angela’s heart tells her that her newfound love cannot be the killer, her detective instincts tell her otherwise, and her obsession with this new lifestyle draws her back to him, even at the risk of her life.

LETHAL OBSESSION is a tale of sex and bondage, love and fear, desire and suspicion, with an ending that will leave you breathless, craving more.

My Review:
Lethal Obsession is a BDSM book unlike any other I have ever read! This book has bondage, kinky sex, mystery, suspense, and shock!! I include shock because that is how the ending of this book left me!! I literally had to pick my jaw off of my lap when I read the concluding chapter!! The mystery and intrigue this book evoked suckered me in from the first 5 sentences and had me saying.... "What the what?!?!?" by the ending!!

Angela Martin is a small town detective who is stuck in an unhappy marriage where she is ignored by her porn surfing husband. It is no wonder why she turns to online services to search for companionship. What she finds there may be more than what she bargained for. Tanner, the online companion Angela found, introduces her to a world of BDSM that she never even knew existed. She finds herself intrigued by him and his lifestyle and cannot resist the pull she feels toward him.

Tanner sparked my curiosity from the very beginning. I found myself hoping like crazy that Tanner would be a knight in shining handcuffs and would save Angela from the rut that she had found herself in with her marriage. Without giving any spoilers away I have to mention that the ending of this book literally had me yelling ...."What?!?!?!?" at my Kindle!! I had my suspicions, but was totally caught off guard with the last chapter of this book. I give Lethal Obsession 4 stars on the knock my socks off scale!! Go 1-Click if you do not shy away from kinky BDSM sex and you love a suspenseful story!

Blurb:
If there’s one thing Julia Wilson has learned in life, it’s that you can’t push your own dreams to the background for anyone. Newly divorced, Julia returns to the hometown she once swore would never see her again. Her plan is simple; enjoy the cheap rent her friend is offering and stay just long enough to develop a plan to make her own dreams come true.

It doesn’t take long before Julia realizes she’s made a big mistake.

Micah Anderson came closer to breaking Julia than anyone else ever had. After promising her forever, he broke her heart the week before she left for college. Now, Julia’s back in town and he’s going to have to tell her the truth about why he left her. It’s not possible to hide a twelve year old child when you live in a town of 5,000 people.

Is following your dreams worth it if it means giving up on a second chance with her first love? Is trying to make a relationship work worth it if his past becomes a threat to her safety?
My Review:
Ok, so have you ever started a book and could not put it down even to feed your own children???? Well that was my day today!! I read Bent by HB Heinzer in one day!! ONE DAY!!! Housework done.. Nope, laundry finished... Nope, organized for the workweek.... Nope, read an amazing book that is a solid 5 stars.... YEP!!!

Bent has such strong characters that force you to love every one of them, even when they are being total screw ups! I was so wrapped up in this book that I literally HAD to read it and find out what was going to happen. Would Julia and Micah refuel the spark of young love and find their happiness, or would Julia's hard headed, stubborn ways cause her to never forgive Micah and force them into permanent regret???? Ugh!!! Just forgive him Julia and let's see more of those steamy bubble bath scenes!! ;)

I was rooting for them as a couple the entire book... Well minus crazy Karen... But I don't want to give any spoilers away there! I loved how HB Heinzer told the story from the different characters' perspectives. It allowed me, as a reader, to dissect what they were feeling at the time. Micah was the alpha male that spent the entire book trying to make up for a mistake he made as an 18 year old boy. Now, trust me... it was a big mistake so he should have been sucking up to Julia. I felt his heart break that he had lived with all those years and had my fingers crossed that he got his happy ending. That's not to say though that there were not times in the book that I found myself shouting "Really?!?!?" at my Kindle! When Caleb was introduced in the story, I was a goner. My heart absorbed that kiddo and I knew then, that he HAD to have his happy ending... Or else! Ha! I love how the setting was small town. Julia fought the entire time trying to get away from the typical small town atmosphere, but in the end it was exactly what she wanted and kept coming back to.

Let's just say this book has it all... love, laughter, angst, and tears! I was on an emotional roller coaster ride throughout this book! One minute I would be laughing at scenes like the snow fight, feeling the angst over crazy Karen, crying over Caleb and his loneliness, and totally wrapped up in Micah and Julia's love. I only hope that this is a first in a series of books and we are blessed with more stories of this group of friends and their lives. Great job HB Heinzer!!! 5 solid stars for Bent and one of my new favorites!!!

Excerpts:
Just as Julia reached for her phone, finally having the liquid courage to enter all ten digits and hit send, the melody to Hard to Love by Lee Brice announced that she wouldn't have to make the call. Micah was calling her.
"Hello?" she said weakly.
"Jules, what the hell is going on?" Micah's voice cracked under a flurry of conflicting emotions. "Where are you?"
She drew a long breath and poured a fifth shot. After tossing it back and coughing from the burn, she responded, "Um, I... I had a job interview. Well, I have one in the morning." It wasn't a lie, she was meeting with Krista first thing in the morning about a job. She was grasping for the words that would ease his mind until she knew what she wanted to do.
"A job interview?" he scoffed, "You have a job interview tomorrow, but you're gone now. You didn't think to tell me about this job interview? I'm going to ask you again, what in the hell is going on?"
____________________________________________________________

"They used to talk about you," he said, his eyes fixed on the road in front of the car.
These six words were the first Caleb had volunteered since he and his dad had their argument in the backyard. She wanted to know what he was talking about but she was also terrified to know the answer.
"Excuse me?" she glanced to the passenger's seat assessing his demeanor.
"My mom and dad. They used to talk about you," he said flatly. "Well, they never really talked. They fought. A lot. That's where I knew your name from when my dad introduced us. I didn't make the connection until now."
If Julia had a list of conversations she never wanted to have this one would have been on there. No one had been forthcoming with information about Karen, even after the attack, and now this. The one person who wanted to speak freely was a twelve year old who would be getting out of the car less than two minutes after pulling the pin on a grenade.
"Okay?" She couldn't think of anything that made her more uncomfortable than not knowing where the discussion was going. She could scream at Micah for being so stupid as to not realize his son would hear the fights he and Karen had.
"She said he'd never love her because he was in love with you." His tone was completely flat. "That true?" he asked, finally looking in her direction.
The conversation had officially crossed into territory that Julia didn't want to discuss with anyone, much less a twelve year old boy. She couldn't blow him off like he was a child who didn't deserve to know the truth. She'd lived that life and was disgusted by the number of people who lied to her face in the name of protecting her. "Yes, at one time he did love me."
"And did you love him?" he asked, picking at his cuticles to avoid any eye contact.
"Yes, I did," Julia whispered. There was a time it would have hurt to admit that but now, she wondered if that was because there was never a time when her love could be referred to in past tense. She did love him. Even with the sucker punch he'd thrown at her this morning, she still loved him.
Caleb made no motion to get out of the car as she pulled up to the curb in front of the school. "But you were gone before I was born, right?"
"Yes, I left for college after graduation and that's when your dad and I broke up." The answer was completely honest. It was more of an answer than anyone gave her questions when her mom left. In some ways she and Caleb were a lot alike. "I never even knew about you until I moved back here right before I met you."
__________________________________________________________

He looked down at her through his droopy eyelids. "You confuse me, you know that?" His words were playful but she could hear that he was serious.
"What?" she asked trying to pull back from his strong embrace so she could better see his face.
His arms stayed tense, not allowing her to move. "One minute, you look like someone shot your puppy and the next minute you're laughing at me. What's that about?"
"You smell like a girl," she laughed. She was hoping the statement would deflect his attention from her sullen mood.
Strong fingers started sweetly stroking her back seconds before breaking into an assault on her ticklish sides, "So, you think I'm a girl now?" he joked. She hated being tickled and Micah knew that. This morning, it was just what she needed.
___________________________________________

She walked up the driveway to where Micah was finishing making cuts. "Hey, can we talk at lunchtime? I'll buy today."
"Yeah, sounds good," he said as he kept moving boards and marking them. "Hey, Jules, you wanna come out and keep me company in a bit?"
Julia shook her head and smiled, "We'll see. I might have to take a nap. Some hot guy took me out last night and I didn't get to bed until late."
Micah played along, feigning anger. "Need me to take care of him for ya?"
A smile broke out on Julia's face, "Nah, I think I might like him," she teased while retreating to the house.
The smile didn't leave Julia's face as she sat down to check in with her clients. Once she'd sent emails to everyone to let them know she'd gotten moved and would be back to work on Monday, she decided to email her brother back.

____________________________

For only the second night since she'd been back, the emptiness between them in the bed was gone. "Can I ask you something?" Micah breathed into her ear as they lay in the dark.
"You just did," Julia laughed.
Micah gently pulled on Julia's shoulders until her face was inches from his. "Do you think there's a chance that someday your heart will heal from everything I've done to you so you can really love me again?"
"Micah, even with everything that's happened in our lives, I don't think there was ever a time when I didn't love you. You've bent the hell out of my heart but for whatever twisted reason, I never stopped loving you."
He rolled her back so her back was pressing into his chest as he drew her as close to his body as possible. "I don't deserve you."
"No, you really don't," she agreed as she drifted off to sleep.

______________________________

"How did you do this?" Julia asked in wide-eyed wonder.
A smug grin broke on Micah's face, "I have my ways," he said, pulling her gently to him. "Come on, there's one more thing," he said as he led her to the master bath. The long vanity was lined with tealights and a vase containing four long-stemmed roses.
"One yellow rose," Micah said handing the first rose to Julia, "to tell you how happy you've made me by coming home, even if it's only for a while."
"A pink rose," he continued, "to say thank you for allowing me into your life. I was an ass and even if I told you I'm sorry every day until I die, it wouldn't be enough."
"This red rose," he handed her the third stem, "because I love you. I always have and I always will."
He pulled the final rose from the slender crystal vase and placed it in Julia's hand, "And the orange rose to show you that you are the only woman I desire. There was a time in my life when I thought I could convince myself otherwise but I was wrong. It's only ever been you."

______________________________

Finally, Annie broke the silence, "Look, no one's asking you to be a mom. Not right now. And I think you're wrong about Caleb. He needs someone like you in his life. He'll see that if you don't give up on him."
"Where the hell is Pepe with our food?" Carly whined.
"Um, I'm pretty sure his name's not Pepe," Julia laughed. "Pepe may be here somewhere, but I doubt he has blond hair and green eyes like our waiter."
"Nuh-uh," Carly said wagging a finger at Julia, "They're all Pepe. It's, like, a rule to work here or something."
Conversation ceased as not-Pepe arrived with platters of fajita toppings. Once the women filled their plates, Annie continued, "Look, I probably shouldn't be saying this, but they need you. And you need them--"
Julia stopped her friend, "No, what I need is to have some space to figure out what I need. That was the whole point of me coming up here. I can't throw that all away for anyone. I spent a decade following my husband all over the damned country for his dreams. I spent the past four years playing the part of the perfect housewife, the whole time knowing we were nothing more than roommates. I'm not going to make any decisions based on what someone else needs."
Author Bio:

And as much as he tried to fight the inevitable, he was learning to accept and surrender.

Martha had weathered her fair share of storms in Vermont, was accustomed to the cold, both the chill in the air and the cold shoulder in her marriage, but after the miscarriage she felt like she would never get warm again. So she did the research from the laptop while sitting in front of the fireplace. She knew what she needed when she Googled hope, she just never imagined that it would bring her to New Hope, South Carolina. She never imagined that her husband would trick her into leaving and never follow. She never imagined that a southern storm with all its force and fury could be so destructive. But after the storm, the land is washed clean. It’s perfect for a fresh start, a clean slate, and a new love.

A CONSTANT CRAVING
Rocky Monroe’s bad luck is legendary. So it stands to reason that during a quick trip to New York on behalf of the Cupcake Lovers’ forthcoming book, she winds up in the arms of the one man she never wants to see again. So what if he’s also the man she can’t stop dreaming about? Mouth-watering Jayce Bello has always been Rocky’s biggest mistake, and she’s not going to let history repeat itself … unless she gets a new taste of his delicious kisses.

AN IRRESISTIBLE DESIRE
When Jayce Bello left Sugar Creek ten years ago, it was the right thing to do—for him and for Rocky, his best friend’s little sister. But one passionate night with gorgeous, reckless Rocky is enough to prove that she’s the missing ingredient in his happiness. Now, with scandalous secrets souring the sweetness of the Cupcake Lovers’ club, Jayce needs to convince Rocky that their love is something to savor …

TEASER
Rocky turned just as Jayce moved into the small room, filling the space with a palatable intensity. As always her heart fluttered and pounded at the sight of him. Tall, lean, and mean. Physically perfect in her book. He wore his dark golden hair longer these days and had grown a devilishly sexy goatee. Bad-boy to the bone, he was dressed in neck-to-toe black. Baggy pullover shirt, cargo pants, a wool Pea Coat hanging open, and a pair of rubber soled boots. He looked to-die-for handsome. He looked . . . angry.

“You said it was nothing.”

She realized his gaze was fixed on her shirt—stained with copious amounts of mostly dried blood. “It looks worse than it is.” She gestured to her forehead, feigned nonchalance. “Just a tiny cut, but it bled like a mother. It’s not that bad. Didn’t even need real stitches. Just this butterfly strip.”

Jayce dragged a hand down his face. “What else?”

Her body trembled when he moved in for a keener inspection. Her temperature spiked. Her brainglitched. Everything—her senses, her emotions—were magnified. She blamed her shaky state on the mugging, the accident, the meds, but no amount of rationalizing, curbed her intense reaction to the reassuring presence of this man. “Just some bruises,” she croaked, swallowing hard when he smoothed messy curls from her face. She’d had a crush on Jayce since she was a kid. She’d finally seduced him on the night of her seventeenth birthday. It had been perfect . . . until the next morning when he’d broken her heart. Every time she saw him, which was hardly ever, a lifetime of memories and emotions battered her soul. Every time she saw him, she fell a little harder instead of digging her way out. “I shouldn’t have called.”

Sex Demon Zahra Aniron is a closet romantic. Too bad she spends her time having hot, kinky sex with paying strangers. But she needs the money to pay off her sister's debt to wizard thugs. There could be worse things than getting paid for pleasure, especially since a sex demon needs climax to survive.
As a blacksmith, Lennox Aegros puts his fury to good use pounding steel into swords. When he arrives at a new town, his real cause for being there isn't to sell weaponry, it's for revenge. When he finds the succubus he's been searching for, her beauty means he can mix business with pleasure. But the joke's on Lennox, because as he succeeds in torturing his victim by repeatedly bringing her to the brink of orgasm and then denying her the release that she so desperately needs, he realizes that Zahra's slow demise means the breaking of a heart he didn't think he had.

Claiming of a Sex Demon
It's not easy for a sex demon to find a wife, and it's even harder when the perfect woman is already taken.
Emmerie Winter has only been married a few months, but depression has made her a fragile stranger in the arms of her husband. She knows she should love him, but she doesn't, and no matter how hard she tries, she can't convince her heart otherwise.
When a sex demon with a boyish grin and a sinful body arrives in town, Emmerie's world is turned upside down. His intense passion for life sends her depression into hiding, but her feelings for the sinful male could get her in deep trouble.
A sex demon needs climax to survive, but that's never been a problem for Reza Aniron as women seem to be unable to resist his charms…all except for one, a timid, blonde angel who treats him with complete indifference. But in her eyes he can see a fire that's just waiting to be released. And he always did love a challenge.

  • Cover Reveal: Wanted by Amanda Lance

Today we welcome Casse Narome as she celebrates her book, The Reborn!!
 Genre -YA Paranormal Romance

Blurb:
Dain has lived a total of ninety-nine different lifetimes and in every single one he has loved the same girl. But now Tara is gone and in her place there stands Bonnie, the complete opposite of Tara. Is Dain's shot at love over or has he lived all these lives because he has been loving the wrong girl?

My Review:
What a great YA genre read The Reborn is!!! It has all the components of an amazing young adult story. There is a dash of love. a pinch of heroism, and a cup full of intrigue! I give The Reborn a 3.5 stars and a must read for the YA lovers out there!

This story takes us back over a span of 100 lifetimes as two young lovers try to find each other as they are "reborn". Dain is a take charge, provider type of guy and is desperate to find his soul mate Tara. Tara is a typical damsel in distress and wants nothing more than to be saved and taken care of. Problem is...Tara is gone and in her place is Bonnie.... the take no prisoners, I can take care of myself without your help thank you very much... type of girl. Dain now finds himself face with the heartache of knowing this is his last lifetime and he will not have Tara there to share it with him. He also is battling the feelings he has for Bonnie, as well as being on the run from the agency that experimented on him to keep his soul reincarnating!

Dain (Dylan) learns through the story that his life is not at all what he thought it was, and neither were the people in it. I was intrigued throughout the book and found myself wondering what the heck was going to happen next! Casse Narome did a great job at giving the back story of each character and keeping he flow of the present story going. If YA is your genre, I urge you to read The Reborn and I look forward to book 2!

EXCERPT-Oh my God. I held my breath. This was going to happen. The giddiness was almost too much to take, but as she unzipped my pants, I heard a door upstairs open and close with a bang. We both froze. Bonnie’s eyes opened wide with obvious terror.“Holy shit,” I whispered. “Your parents?”She shook her head and pushed me off of her. “Worse. My brothers.”I jumped up and scooped up our shirts before I tossed her one. I buttoned my jeans in a mad rush and shook out the shirt as the basement door opened. I glanced at the shirt in my hand, frowned at how tiny it looked, and groaned. Yes, I had tossed Bonnie a shirt, the wrong shirt. As the stairs creaked, I looked over at Bonnie and her enormous eyes widened even more.“That’s mine,” she whispered, my shirt nearly drowning her body. I groaned again as two boys stepped into the room and one pair of feet stopped just an inch from a condom that I must have abandoned when Bonnie had pushed me away. I saw the guys soak in the scene—me with no shirt on, Bonnie swallowed by the wrong one. The taller of the two bent and picked up the condom at his feet. Where was the second condom? Collectively, our gazes moved to my hand where the second condom and Bonnie’s shirt still lingered. I couldn’t move, other than to let the shirt and the partially opened condom wrapper fall from my hand. Bonnie shut her eyes tight as the condom, of course, landed on top of the shirt. Both guys frowned angrily as they glared at me. The smaller one, who still stood at six foot something, spoke, “Your fly is open.”I was dead.

Author Bio-Casse Narome is the alter-ego of a self-proclaimed awesome weirdo who spent her childhood reading and daydreaming. As an adult that is also how she spends her time only now she writes her daydreams down for everyone to read. Casse is never serious, has been accused of wishing her life was a sitcom, laugh track and all, has a bad habit of talking out loud to herself and she is fine with being a little insane. She spends way too much time online, too much money buying books and laughing at her own jokes. You will find her on Twitter being very random and spewing her opinions. When you see her online, tell her to get back to her writing! Or just engage her in a hilarious random conversation.

Blurb:
Considering she’s a girl who calculates everything, Addie Battes knew the statistical probability of being abducted in her lifetime—too bad she never analyzed the odds of falling in love with her captor.

While stopping at a crowded rest area one summer night, seventeen-year-old Addie accidentally catches a truck hijacking in progress. Desperate to rid the crime of its only witness, one of the thieves kidnaps Addie. Yet surprisingly, when a renegade thief attempts to silence her for good, Addie is saved by the very man who abducted her. Now, forced on board a cargo ship in the middle of the ocean, Addie finds herself surrounded by international smugglers who want nothing more than to throw her overboard.

All except the artistic and intriguing Charlie Hays, whose strange protectiveness convinces Addie to trust him, even when common sense tells her otherwise. Yet, despite her doubt, and his unrelenting temper, their relationship develops into something much more. But, Charlie’s scorned colleague has stowed away, and as he seeks revenge against his coworker, Addie and Charlie are forced to put their new love—and lives—at risk.
