We are super excited to welcome Jasinda Wilder to our blog today!! She is here to talk about her new book, Falling Into You!

Blurb:
I wasn't always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first. Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way. Then, one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him.

Colton didn't teach me how to live. He didn't heal the pain. He didn't make it okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay, and, eventually, how to let go.

My Review:
Ok.. Wow... I feel a little emotionally zapped right now! Jasinda Wilder... I should send you a bill for my Kleenex!! Wow!! What an amazing story about love, grief, learning how to deal with life's obstacles, and then convincing yourself to live again!! Falling Into You is a beautifully written story that hooked me in from page 1 and I think I am still there actually!!! This books easily gets a 5 star on the knock my socks off scale!!

Nell has found her true love.... Her hot best friend that she has known since birth, Kyle. He is athletic, smart, witty, fun, sexy, charming, and loves her unconditionally. Problem is during a horrible storm Kyle gets killed. What?!?!? That is what I said.... Even though I had read the blurb!!! Nell feels like a piece of her died with Kyle that day. He took her innocence, her laughter, her security, her I give a damn with him to his grave. Nell is now a lost soul going through the motions on he outside, and silently dying inside.

Now what would the story be with the hottie that feels his life's mission is to save Nell from herself and her demons??? That is where super sexy, alpha male, tatted up bad boy, drinker/smoker, and oh did I mention.... Kylie's brother... Colton comes along!! Colton is a rock my world, all or nothing type guy and he sets his eyes on freeing Nell from her past guilt and teaching her how to live again. I love the fact that Colton has had a harsh past couple of years and has actually lived through what he is trying to teach Nell about grief. It isn't a do as I say kind of story. It is a do as I say and as I did!!! I instantly fell in love with Colton and was just hoping that Nell would be able to let go of Kyle's ghost and her own guilt long enough to see what Colton had to offer her.

I am not going to give away any spoilers.... BUT when I say this left me emotionally zapped I mean I ugly cried... Tears rolling down my neck, face red and puffy, hiccuping.... UGLY cry!!! This is such a heartfelt story of two souls trying to heal and find love again that I had sad tears and happy tears... Either way friends... I HAD TEARS!!! Now don't get me wrong with all of these tears, there were still take me against the wall, car, couch, wherever you want because you are THE man Colton times!! I may have cried from jealousy of Nell a couple of times. ;) Jasinda Wilder does an amazing job at spreading the emotions throughout the book and tapping into all of the reader's emotions... Not just grief and severe sadness... But comical, happy, horny.... Yes that was an emotion in this book!!

I highly suggest that if you have not read Falling Into You, you 1-Click as fast as possible and get started on a book that you will want to devour in one sitting!!! Kudos Jasinda Wilder and I am totally praying for a sequel!!!!

Excerpt:
Though the creek was thin, I knew it was wide enough I could not step over it easily. I might be able to jump across it if I tried, but it would be pushing it. Chances were, it was just out of jumping reach, though a few large boulders in its midst would allow crossing. I guessed ten feet across, give or take a half foot. The answer was good enough for me, and so I moved on to depth. I stood up and walked over to the bank to peer down. Depth was the trickiest part, since the shimmering water would make the distance hard to determine. So intent was I upon figuring out the depth of the water that I did not hear the sounds of someone else coming into the area.

“What are you staring at?” The sound came from in front of me. In shock, I started, stumbled, and tripped over a large branch. I fell over, landing on my bottom, just barely nicking my head upon the rock I had previously been sitting on. My vision momentarily swam. It cleared just in time for me to see a tall stranger hop off the second boulder to land on my side of the creek. “I didn't mean to frighten you.”

I stared up at the stranger. I was frightened, and had no idea what he would be doing in this area. The creek on this side was our property, and the other side was state land. So where did he come from? I look fearfully into his eyes, but I saw only kindness and concern where I had expected to find malice.

“Who...who are you?” I stuttered.

His lips cracked a smile that split his broad face nearly in half, showing bright white teeth in a perfectly straight line. “My name's Takoda.” He looked at me expectantly, but in my shocked state I wasn't sure what he wanted. He prompted me, “And you are?”

I muttered, “Willie.”

I had the pleasure to sit down with Cheslea and ask her some burning questions: ;) It was so exciting chatting books with her!
K: How did your book come about?
CF: Well, it just kind of hit me one day. I had been talking to one of my Aunts about the circumstances surrounding Native Americans and the reservations in modern days, and my character presented herself in full force. I have a knack of connecting well with coming of age stories, despite the fact that I'm already fully grown, and so the story just kind of flowed together from there.

K: Where do you get your inspiration from?
CF: Everywhere. My friends, family, the world around me...I'll see or hear something and immediately become inspired. It's actually fairly random.

K: Did you plan on this being a series? If so, how many books do you plan to write?
CF: Actually, this is the second in the series. I planned on it being a series from the very beginning, but I'm not exactly sure how many books there will be total though. It's looking like somewhere between seven and ten, but I won't know for a while how many it will be at the end.

K: How long did it take to write it?
CF: Actually, it only took me three months to write this one. It was the fastest I had ever written a story, and even though it's technically a 'novella' it's a lot longer than the first book in the series, which took a lot longer to write. The words just seemed to flow out of me of their own accord on this one.

K: If you could spend the day with one of your characters, who would it be and why?
CF: Spike. Definitely. He's such a babe. That's a terrible reason to choose, I know, but I also think he'd be a fun guy to hang out with. I get the feeling that a day with Spike would be full of surprises. He's such an odd guy, but he takes a lot after the guys I usually hang out with, so I'm sure we'd get along just fine.

K: What did you want to be when you were a little girl?
CF: I actually always wanted to be an author. No joke. I was only four or five years old when I began writing down my own stories- horrendous ones at that. In about fifth grade I began seriously writing poetry and numerous short stories, and I began writing my first novel at the age of sixteen. ('A Severing of Ties.') I guess I'm one of those lucky people who always knew what they wanted to do, and actually pushed themselves to make that dream come true. Each new book I put out makes me feel as though I'm reliving all of those day dreams I had as a child.
